New Feature: Time Bank!
  • We've added a new feature to all modes called the Time Bank
  • Each player gets 2 Time Bank charges per match
  • If you hit 0 seconds on the timer without locking in, you will get an additional 5 seconds and a Time Bank charge will be consumed
  • You can only use 1 charge per turn (so you cannot use both charges in a single turn)
  • We've added this because the biggest "feel bad" moment right now is completely missing a turn. This allows players to have a couple moments each game where they can lock in just after the timer ends without missing an entire turn. We'd love to hear your feedback on this new feature!

  • The tutorial is now optional for new players
  • As part of our Beta test, we are trying out making the tutorial optional
  • New players will be greeted with a screen that makes it more clear what type of game Atlas Reactor is and they will be recommended (but not required) to play the Tutorial
  • The default PLAY selection for New Players is VS BOTS.

  • Changed fonts in a few parts of the UI to make them more readable
  • Number of players in the matchmaking queue has been removed as a display (but estimated time remains)
  • Why did we remove the number of players? This was an example of something that was hurting perception more than helping it. Our goal is to keep the queue relatively small - the faster we can make quality matches, the better for all of our players. We don't want you sitting in queue! The number of players in the queue isn't directly correlated to the number of people playing - but people were using it as that. We've removed the number since estimated time is a much better indicator to players of when a match will occur and it doesn't confuse what the goals are for the queue.
  • Fixed an issue where the X would not close the scoreboard while dead
  • Fixed some issues to prevent invite spamming



  • Damage increased from 20 to 25.

Piston Punch
  • One on One mod - Increased mod cost from 2 to 3
  • Haymaker mod - Now the default mod
Hand Cannon
  • Reduced damage on the secondary blast from 15 to 12.
  • Reduced damage from 35 to 32.


Hawk Drone
  • Vicious Mod - Damage bonus reduced from 6 to 4
Tranquilizer Dart
  • Cooldown increased from 3 to 4.

  • Health increased from 140 to 150
Plasma Volley
  • Damage increased from 24 to 25.
Combat Reflexes
  • Damage increased from 24 to 25.


Echo Hammer
  • Sledge Mod - Reduced the damage increase from 5 to 3.
Black Hole Generator
  • Reduced damage from 15 to 10.
  • Reduced the damage from 30 to 26.

Dr. Finn
Bubble Trouble
  • Can no longer be targeted through walls
  • New mod - Cast Away - Bubble Trouble can be targeted through walls. This is the default mod.
Electrifying Eels
  • Damage reduced from 24 to 22.
  • Grand Finn-ale mod - damage bonus reduced from 15/10 to 10/5.

Known Issues
  • There is an issue on some Radeon cards where framerate is very low. We are currently working on a fix for this issue
